Activities like karate, games and sports, literary activities like quiz, music, dance, dramatics, French classes, debate, public speaking, elocution and social service, etc. are some common activities of our school. No student will be allowed to abstain from physical exercise classes without doctor’s certificate.

Educational Trip

The educational trip to Jaipur and Jodhpur was an experience that blended excitement, learning, and admiration for Rajasthan’s royal heritage. Organized by EdTerra, the six-day tour from 7th to 12th October 2025 took students of Classes IX to XI of Shri Shikshayatan School, Kolkata, across two cities that continue to reflect the grandeur of India’s past.

Educational Trip

40 students (X, XI, XII), four teachers of science department and Principal Ms. Sangeeta Tandon of Shri Shikshayatan School went on an Educational trip to the prestigious JNCASR (Jawaharlal Centre for Advanced Scientific Research) and IISc (Indian Institute of Sciences), Bangalore to get an exposure to the high level of scientific research in our country. They learnt science in a popular way through hands-on methodology that is highly engaging, promoting active learning. It allowed students to apply their knowledge and hone their critical thinking skills. The objective was to actively create knowledge rather than merely absorb it and to get motivated into a promising research career. The Lab visits promoted experiential learning 😃 joyful learning.
